VB Strong Center Hours – During COVID 19 our office is closed for walk-ins; only scheduled appointments!

All services have been moved to WebEx and Zoom platforms in order to continue to provide the full array of individual and group services.  A staff member is available to answer your calls in office at 757-507-7200: Monday – Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm.

And please feel free to call our phone number 24 hours a day/7 days a week and you will be connected to a member of our team.

Parking Directions:

  • The VB Strong Center is located in the second story of The Offices at Landstown Commons (above Firehouse Subs and Saladworks)
  • Enter office space at the arched breezeway in the middle of the plaza
  • Take the stairs or elevator to the second floor, Suite 2000
  • Parking is available in front of and behind the office space

Anyone impacted by the May 31 tragedy is welcome to call, email or visit the VB Strong Center.

To protect the confidentiality and privacy of visitors, members of the media are not allowed to visit the center without making prior arrangements with the Sentara Healthcare public relations team.

The content of VB Strong Center (VBSC) programs is related to the recovery and healing process of individuals directly and indirectly impacted by the events of 5-31-2019.  VBSC psychoeducational classes are for the purpose of education and information only and are not a substitute for therapy or equivalent to a therapeutic relationship.  VBSC classes are designed to share information and do not include opportunities for individuals to share or process personal experiences. 

VBSC programs are not intended to and should not serve as a substitute for medical advice or diagnoses rendered to you by your individual doctor or other health care provider. Should you have any health, medical or disability questions or concerns, please consult a physician or other health care professional.  VBSC offers case management provided by mental health professionals who are available to provide navigation services to identify resources to meet your individual needs.
