Chair Yoga for Stress Relief and Focus

Need a mid-day picker upper? The VB Strong Center and instructor Amanda Hamp invites you to enroll in this midday VIRTUAL yoga class.

This class will improve flexibility, balance, strength & focus while increasing the awareness of the entire body from head to toes. Class starts with 35 minutes of joint freeing series and breathing techniques to burn off the restless energy, anxiety & stress. You will dive deep into guided meditation and learn to activate the parasympathetic nervous system to calm the mind, body, and emotions. These guided meditations help you tap into a state of relaxed consciousness. It also helps manage immune function, blood pressure, cortisol levels and induce restful sleep. Recommended for this class is a chair, yoga mat (optional), and a pillow (or blanket) but necessary; however, it can be helpful for comfort. 

This yoga class will be provided virtually via zoom-link and registration is required prior to attending the class.
